The Ghan and Indian Pacific

Tailor Made Rail
T he Ghan is one of the world’s most famous train journeys with a history going back 90 years. This iconic route traverses the continent from north to south from Darwin to Adelaide (or reverse) through Australia’s unique red centre. Slightly younger but no less spectacular, the Indian Pacific covers an even longer route from Perth across mountains, deserts and wide open plains en route to Sydney. Both train journeys give passengers the chance to simply put down their suitcases and let their journey unfold. All meals, drinks and off-train excursions are included and very detail of the journey has been considered to maximise your experience and make your time aboard entirely stress-free. With unforgettable off-train excursions, lovingly crafted menus made from local ingredients and magnificent scenery, a holiday aboard The Ghan or Indian Pacific is one that you will never forget.
