Day Trips with the Belmond British Pullman

Tailor Made Rail
T he British Pullman can be compared to a stately home on wheels. Each beautifully restored carriage has its own name (Very, Audrey, Perseus – to name a few) and each has its own history. Comfortable armchair-style seats are grouped around tables laid with Pullman branded china and glassware. Liveried stewards bring you canapés and glasses of chilled Champagne. There are beautiful panels of marquetry and art deco touches everywhere. A day trip aboard this famous train allows you the chance to go back in time and travel aboard your own stately home – whether you’re visiting a traditional seaside resort, spending some time in one of England’s historic cities or simply relaxing over a lavish meal and watching the scenery pass by your window, this is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or simply treat yourself to an unforgettable day out.

Belmond British Pullman

A day trip on the British Pullman gives you the chance to celebrate and dress up in the spirit of the occasion.

Jackets and ties are not essential for gentlemen but smart attire is welcomed. You can never be overdressed aboard this train.

Guests are asked to avoid casual clothing including trainers, collarless t-shirts and shorts.

Tailor Make Your Trip

As with all luxury train journeys, the British Pullman runs set departures with a program of activities and meals for the day. Therefore, it’s not possible to ‘tailor make’ the day trip itself. However, we can certainly arrange accommodation and extra travel around these set departures. You might like to spend a night in London before and/ or after your journey for example or include connecting rail travel from your local station. We can even incorporate your day trip aboard the British Pullman into a wider UK holiday itinerary to include nights in London and where-ever else you would like to see. Just give us a call or drop us an email to let us know what you would like to do.
